You can learn about networking on your own time with one-on-one instruction from Susan K. Morrow, Networking Nurse. Sick of networking? Pay a visit to the Networking Nurse!

Coaching is also available for business owners, CEO’s, salespeople, teachers, and others who need to improve their presentation skills. Here are a couple of coaching cases in Susan’ own words:

“I worked with a couple who own a business brokerage. The wife had recently joined her husband in business and had no experience in networking. I met with the two of them together and individually to help them learn how to use networking to increase the bottom line of their business. They each developed a 30-second introduction and learned how to find contacts who will be mutually beneficial for them. When I followed up later, I found that they were utilizing the coaching successfully.”

“I had a client who had a highly specialized craft business. She and I both believed that interior designers were her best market. One of the reasons she chose to work with me was my large number of contacts in that industry. (I have a lot of friends in all kinds of businesses—just try me!) We clarified her marketing message and set about meeting with a number of architects and designers. That’s when we discovered that she needed a different niche. Without my training and assistance, she may not have learned that, at least not for a long while, costing her time, money, and heartache.”
